Two Chefs is a small owner-operated start-up business that is wholly Australian owned and managed. Our vision for the future is to help keep your tastebuds happy through engaging with quality artisan products which are made with care and which we can always guarantee are made without the use of artificial flavourings, colourings and enhancers. With our products you will never need to have a science degree to understand what is in our products because there will only ever be 100% natural.
We place particular emphasis on customer service and education about the produce and producers we are working with, and we take our responsibility of supplying premium quality produce seriously.
About the people behind the name
The guys behind Two Chefs are Thomas and Gary. Both decided to further their passion and interest in cooking and in 2014 undertook the Certificate 4 in Commercial Cooking at Baulkham Hills TAFE.
It was while they were engaged in their training that their attention was drawn to the need for a range of chutneys, relishes and pickles that was not over-dependent on artificial enhancers and flavourings like many commercial products found on supermarket shelves, without compromising on flavour.
This is especially a concern for people who suffer from a wide-range of health issues, such as the many people who have a gluten intolerance, and other intolerances to a range of preservatives, emulsifiers and colourings.
Over the course of 18 months the guys developed a range of recipes which satisfied these requirements, with the foremost consideration being that it did not just have to be free of the artificial nature of other like products, but they had to taste exceptionally good!
With a band of loyal ‘taste-testers’, and advice from their professional trainers at TAFE, they put together their first product range and introduced them to the market in October 2015. Since then they have had trouble keeping up with demand!
